MAC
Comment Support
Comments can be added to any diagram element. This is done by dragging the
comment icon, a small speech bubble from the Palette Panel to the desired
element. This opens a large, again speech-bubble formed editor window, where
the user can enter comments. After closing this editor, the small icon is
shown in fornt of the commented element. Moving the mousepointer over the
icon shows the contents, thus supporting quick access to additional
information without cluttering the graphics.
On a printout, the comments are shown as footnotes. When executing, the
system can be configured to add the comments of processed diagram elements
to the execution log (configurable).
Comments can be accessed from code templates for inclusion of comments into
the target code. As there exist specific directives for comments, the user
can adapt templates to adapt comment transfer to the specific requirements.
